No really, why another newsletter?

The short of the long is that I am strongly confident ByteDance is going to sell TikTok to Marc Andreessen. I can’t fuck with that.

But I am a much better writer (I think?) than I am a talker, with all the ums and uhs and malaprops and all the rest.

I feel more comfortable behind a keyboard. And writing helps me weed out people without the patience to read.

THAT SAID.

My vow to you is not to ramble on. I will keep these missives short. Punchy. Snackable content (remember that nauseating new media neologism? 2013 was a different time).

At some point, because I like money, I may introduce some sort of subscription system, but I think that’s only fair if I make something worth paying for.

So what will I write about?

Probably the same stuff I talk about. With embeds! The future is now!

But yes. Politics. Much of it Canadian. Some…other things. Whatever you want. Okay, that’s it for now.
